Turn an old ironing board cabinet into a spice rack
Step 1: Remove cabinet door and paint the outside. I used chalkboard paint.
Step 2: I wanted a nice design in the background so I decided to use fabric. First I measured the back of the cabinet then I went to the dollar store and bought poster board and dish towels that had a cute design. Total cost: $4
Step 3: Measure and cut the board to fit in the cabinet, then wrap fabric around it. I used tape to hold it together
Step 4: Now place it into the cabinet. Don’t worry if you get some wrinkles
Step 5: Measure how big you want the shelves. I went to home depot and bought a small can of paint and molding which I had them cut into 1ft pieces.
Step 5: I also bought corner braces and wood glue
Step 6: This is the hard part. I got my husband to help me screw in the braces and glue the sides of the shelves into the cabinet.
Step 7: To finish it off I went to ikea and bought some nice containers for the spices
Step 7: Fill them with spices and label them 🙂
